Myspace isn’t as popular as it use to just like Friendster . Facebook over took Myspace.

The content of making videos that are funny was mde popular from vine . But now Vine has lost it’s popularity to Tik Tok and even snapchat when it comes to making videos. Social media platforms have a timeframe.
What causes Social Media to die?
When the platform looses it’s soul . What made the app great. Businesses think about going mainstream and doing things that can bring revenue and sometimes forget about the sould of the app.The co-founder of Instagram recently shared that it has lost it’s soul of what made Instagram.He felt like it became too comercialised with people wanting to make money and have a certain aesthethic for their brand deals.And not for the Family and Friends.The unique point of Instagram with no limit followers. When you focus a business on creators and not just everyday people it looses it cultural essence. You Tube is similar regular people could create content and they could become successful if they had good content on their platforms.
Instagram was also bo bought by Facebook in 2012 for a billion dollars . The co founders left in 2018 because of the differences. When platforms get bought from bigger platforms to sky rocket their business . It can be the death of the platform if you don’t align with the same values.

You Tube has also gone mainstream there has been a rumor that some platforms will pay celebrities and influencers to create account to bring more people on their platforms. However , in general a lot of celebrities and influencers know they can make money very quickly when they create a You Tube channel . They have already built their following so all they have to do is direct their followers in a different direction.There’s a difference between the videos that regular people do versus celebrities. Celebrities have professional lighting and camera which is good . However , you want to make sure that the viewers can relate to you .
Twitter was recently bought by elon musk for 44 Billion dollars . Since then Musk has been trying to make Twitter way more then what it is. There has been reports about muk wanting to add a dating feature , trying to also make people pay for verification, influencers to make money off the platforms. Platforms like to copy other platforms and see what they were doing to make it successful. That can be the downfall of many of these apps.It’s important to always stay true to your platform. Brands that have been around still kept their original blueprint but they still evolved.
Tik Tok is facing problems with it being banned in certain states and even countries. Montana has banned Tik Tok and Tik recently sued them for it. This can affect people who do business on Tik Tok many people on does platforms that how they increase their revenue. This can affect someone livelihood if they have only built their following on one social media platforms.
