She is the youngest of the Braxton.She began singing when she was a toddler.The braxtons would eventually enter into a church choir.Their father was a pastor. Singing in church is always the foundations and in the early 90s for a person to get a chance to become a vocalist.The place that they really had to start was the church.That was the only way that they could get a chance into becoming superstars.She and her sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina, signed their first record deal with Arista Records in 1989.They released their first song called Good life which did very well on the Billbaords.
There was a problem when it came to Marketing when it came to their age differences.So they were eventually dropped from their records label.At the time there was TLC that were close in age.And were already establishing themselves in the Music industry.Competition makes record labels drop people out so quickly for any inconvenienece.In 1991 there was a showcase that was happening . They were in the process of forming La face records.Toni braxton was chosen .At the time they were not looking for a girl group.They had just signed TLC.The remaining sisters became backup for their sister Toni braxton.
In 1993 The braxton was signed to La face.The group never released an album or anything like that.And then La reid moved to Atlantic records and he convinced the people to take the group there.Tracy braxton was not allowed to sign because of her pregnancy at the time.They returned with a new album called So many ways.Which did well on Billboards.There was also a remix of the version with Rapper Jayz.The braxton then went their separate ways and Tamar decided to pursue her own solo career.She then signed with Dreamworks records.
Tamar braxton then met up with Tricky stewart.She recorded a solo album called Ridiculous.Let him go and Just cuz.She was hoping that does 2 songs would get her attention and put her on the map.However , when it comes to when your starting out it can be very hard.The songs didn’t get much attention on the radio.So there was pushback when it came to her album.Her debut album Tamar was released in the year 2000.The lead song Get none was produced by Jermaine dupri.There were also some rap verses from Jayz.The album was starting to get some attention on radio.However , Her label dropped her because it wasn’t getting enough radio it was the early 2000s

She was signed to Casablanca records and began working on her second album.2010 he signed to Universal records.And that time the Braxton sisters had their own reality show.The heart in me was another song that she released.Tamar was also married to Vincent at that time
She also had her own Reality tv show called Tamar and Vince.March 2013 she signed with Epic records.She released her second album called Love and war and it was after 13 years she released her second album.This is clearly rare for someone to take this long.To release their second album.However Tamar went through different things when it came to the msuic industry.Her journey wasn’t easy and she already had a super star sister.That already became successful.Tamar released The one as the lead single.All the way home was released in August 2013.That same year she also became a co host at the real.
December of 2013 she received 3 Grammy nominations it seems like now.Things were starting to get better when it comes to being recognised.She is her own Artist and didn’t necessary need her sisters to do everything for her.She was able to find her own path.Tamar was featured in a Robin thicke song called For the rest of my life.She also was featured on a song with Future called Let me know.Her third album Calling all lovers was released October 2015.The braxtons released a holiday album called The braxton family christmas.Supporters always like to hear the sisters coming together to sing.
She also got a Grammy nominations If i don’t have you.May of 2016 she got fired from the Real.April of 2017 she left Epic records to sign with Entertainment one.My man was released from her fifth album called blu bird happiness.She also was featured Celebrity big brother.Tamar braxton starred in a movie called Vivica foxx.Which premiered april of 2020.She released a new song called Crazy kind of love.She was also featured in a Christmas hip hop movie.Tamar braxton seems like she likes Entertainment from what we have gathered here.She has been singing , Acting , Songwriting , Hosting.she takes advanatage when it comes to her fame to the fullest.
Sometimes having a sister that is already a star can dim your light.And it can take away from you. Tamar braxton managed to create a brand for herself.That sometimes it can easily be forgotten that Toni braxton is her relative.The braxtons career didn’t really become successful.And sometimes certain things are just not meant to be.The other could be that it would be better for them to make sure that they have their own careers.The youngest and oldest have gotten attention from it.It worked for them.When it comes to working with family members it can be very hard at times.
It’s hard because you have to make sure that your able to accomodate everybody else that wants to make music as a career.And you don’t want to disappoint your parents.Especially if they come from a working class background you have to make sure that your able to accomodate your parents and siblings.And that can be a lot on one person to handle .The pressure from family members can be so much and you don’t even know what to do.Because now you have to make sure that your able to do everything for them.And you don’t always disappoint them.Catering to their needs.
