He is the son of Tito Jackson and also Dee Dee Martes. And he has 2 younger brothers. He graduated from high school in 1991 and also studied Television production with a minor in Music. Under the guidance of their Father Tito they formed their own band called 3T. He already comes from a family that became successful in the Music industry when it comes to Jackson 5. When it comes to them creating their own group together it made a lot of sense. And also they had family members that have been already in the business. That can help them when it comes to figuring out what they are supposed to do.
Their late uncle signed them to his label, MJJ Music. Their debut album Brotherhood was released in 1995. The album sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Their debut song “Anything” was released. And their song blew up and became worldwide. The song became such a hit. The song did really well especially in Europe. Some people may say that they are already popular because of who they are related to and sometimes that can be true. However, that doesn’t mean that you will always find success. It doesn’t work that way. They had a second album that was supposed to be released after the success. However, it was never released because of the strained relationship with Sony.

Because they had this momentum and everything was working out really well for them. They were becoming very successful. And if they kept up with the momentum they could have gone higher and higher. The label had so much power and they could honestly do whatever that they wanted with you. Which meant that you didn’t really have a say on a lot of things and that sucks.
And that’s why many people would just rather be independent. However, you must know that it’s out of pocket and you have to pay for it. They released 2 more albums and they were called Identity in 2004, and Chapter III in 2015. It shouldn’t have taken them long when it comes to releasing. They have also written and produced The Jacksons: An American Dream, Free Willy, Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home, Men in Black and Trippin’. Being in a successful boy band came with a lot of opportunities and it was working out for them really well. Taj also directed music videos and also documentaries.
3T are still touring headlining concerts and festivals. When you have made classic songs that are still very relevant and important to the culture it’s not surprising that this would happen. Taryll and his brothers have also been featured in a reality TV show. And this allowed people to get themselves to see what being a Jackson is truly like and this was a good opportunity for them to show what they have been working for a long time. During the 90s you didn’t see their every move because social media didn’t exist so unless you read it on magazines or watched it on TV.
