Pharell met Chad hugo when he was just in the 7 Grade at a summer band camp.They played instruments like drums and Tenor saxophone.They were in a school band together when they attended Princess anne High school.Pharell graduted from High school in 1991.And attended University for 2 years before dropping out.In the early 1990s pharell formed a Hip hop group.During does times Forming a goup was very popular .They were so many goups durng the 90s so it was a lot more competitive to become successful.Imagine a new group competing with people like Jodeci and Boyz II Men.

The group was called Surrounded by Idiots Chad Hugo, Magoo, and cousin Timbaland.They didn’t even get a chance to make Music together.Before they decided not to be together anymore.He then formed an R&B goup with Hugo and friends Shay Haley and Mike Etheridge.The group is called Neptunes.They entered a high school talent shows and they were discovered by a producer called Teddy riley.After graduating the group signed with Riley.Pharell didn’t allow the failure that happened in the first group to get to him.Instead he went for another one .Some people would have just given up or have gone solo.It could be also the era that they were in.It’s diffciult to be a successful solo Artist.

Pharell wrote a verse on Teddy riley verse called Rump shaker.The neptunes produced Superthug.They also worked with Kelis producing her first 2 albums Kaleidoscope (1999) and Wanderland (2001).2001 the band was made of Pharell , Hugo , Haley released their first debut album called In search of.Pharell and Hugo signed to Arista records.Neptunes produced songs on Babyface albums. There she goes and Face 2 Face.Neptunes also produced a Britney spears song I’m a slave 4 you and boys.It was quite obvious that producing was going very well for them.They were getting opportunities to work with big Artist.

Hip hop duo called Clipse released their album called Lord Willin it was entirely produced by the Neptunes.They also produced  songs on Justin timberlake album.Songs like Senorita , Like i love you , Rock you body.In a survey conducted in 2003 it was said that the Neptunes produced almost 20% of British songs on Radio and another Survey in America was told that 43% of Radio songs were produced by them.That just showes the impact that they had in the Music industry.Neptunes also produced Snoop dog song called Drop it like it’s hot.Pharell vocals was featured on the song.Did the Neptunes originally wanted to become producers?.Because originally they were an R&B group.

Neptunes produced Gwen stefani song called Hollaback girl.Pharell released his first ever album called In my mind.Neptunes produced Clipse second album called Hell hath no fury.Neptunes produced songs on Gwen album The sweetescape and Yummy.Neptunes also produced Jayz album called American gangster.Many people who produce tend to do it by themselves.However , Neptunes decided to do it as a group.And it was working out very well for them.They were basically the Fairy godmother of the Music industry when it came to the production.Pharell also worked with Madonna for her 11 album called Hard candy.They also worked on a remix album for Maroon 5 .

N.E.R.D released their thid album seeing sounds in 2008.They also worked with Shakira on a song called Did it again , Why wait and Good stuff.They also produced Clipse thid album called Till the Casket drops.Pharell for the Movie Despicable me did the  the Music part.N.E.R.D released their 4 album called Nothing.Pharell worked on songs for Mike posner.Pharell also collaborated with French duo called Daft punk.Diversifying yourself in the Music industry when it comes to international acts.Neptunes were not afraid to try different sound and that why they are successful.

March 2013 Pharell wrote and produced on a song called Blurred lines.This song during 2013 was extremely popular.You can hear this song being played everywhere.Songs like Get lucky and Blurred lines sold millions of copies.Happy is a song written and produced by Pharell.The song was loved by everyone.It also has different unique sound to it.It doesn’t sound like an other song.And that could be the reason why it stood out.And also the topic of the song.It’s about being Happy.So it’s not surprising when it came to the review of the song.Pharell was nominated fo 7 Grammy awards.and also for a Oscar us well.

Pharell released his second album during March of 2014.Pharell was featured on a show called The voice.Pharell composed song for the Spider man movie. He was also the executive producer on T.I album.Pharell also produced songs on a Spongebob movie.N.E.R.D hip hop group was also featured on a song with Rihanna. called lemon.The song written very well.It bounced very well when it came to the beat.Pharell worked with Ariana grande when it came to her album Sweetener .Pharell clearly worked his way up.When it came to the Music industry.And he didn’t stop he kep on Producing till he had the opportunity  even felt like it was the righ time.To start releasing his own Music.

Pharell is a Musician with multiple skills.He doesn’t just specialise in on one thing . But he does other things.Would we say that he his a jack of all trades?.Yes because the things he can provide for Artist.He isn’t singer , rapper.But a Musician.He should be respected because of the work that he has done.The good thing about his career is that he had a team.That could help him pursue his dreams.There are some people that do things on their own.He has been able to make a career for himself an a solo artist. Working with Miely cyrus , Calvin Harris etcc.

Pharell williams has 4 children he has kept his relationship and family private.Especially his triplets for a long time people didn’t even know what they looked like.And people were applauding him on social media for keeping their identity private.When your famous.People will pick on you for any and anything.And children are vulnerable they don’t know what going on.Pharell started off in a group producing for Artist he didn’t start doing his solo stuff after he found success.Is this the way to start your career in this generation through songwiting and poducing.
