Misha b
She is of Jamaican heritage. She was raised by her aunt called Lily. She didn’t have a relationship with her birth mother. She grew up in Manchester and she started out by writing poetry. She started taking her vocal abilities seriously when she was just 14 years old. When she was 18 years old she joined a Vocal artist course. She was coached by Leanne Brown. And she was part of a group called Sweet Female Attitude. She entered the open mic scene when she was just 18 years old. In 2011 she joined the X Factor. Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. She performed Respect by Aretha Franklin.
The judges were impressed when it came to her audition. She had her own style when it comes to singing and rapping. She progressed from the BootCamp to the judges houses. Judges houses she also impressed Kelly Rowland. Kelly Rowland became her mentor. She was performing every week at the live shows. And the live shows are quite tough to compete. You have to really make sure that you impress when it comes to your performances. She made it through the quarter final. She was involved in a controversy about her saying mean comments to the contestants and Louis Walsh. And it came out that she never said any of these things.
It sucks that she had to deal with this on live television. Because when you have that type of image of yourself when it comes to being a bully or angry people are not trying to vote for you or even like you anymore. The situation can get really bad. And then you have to figure out a way to fix it when it comes to it. After the X Factor she performed at SBTV. And in 2012 she signed with Relentless Records. When she first started the X Factor she was just 19 years old. She then began touring as part of the top 9 X Factor. At this time she was working on her mixtape.
The mixtape included covers of “Rolling in the Deep”, “Mirror”, “Unpretty”, “Run the World”, “Crew Love” and “Climax”). Her debut song Home Run. She also performed at the MOBO awards. There are people who really liked Misha B and she is very good at what she does. She doesn’t try to copy people she has her own style and that’s what people appreciated when it came to her. It’s not surprising that she still had momentum and people still wanted to hear from her. She also headlined Manchester Pride. And she also went on tour to support Nicki Minaj.
That is a big deal that she had a chance to support Nicki Minaj. Do You Think of Me was co-written by herself. Do You Think was placed on the charts. She was also featured on a song with Angel called Time After Time with Misha B. In 2013 Misha B headlined NBA game. And on February 12 she released her second mixtape. She had old school music on there. It’s good to do covers. But we also believe that when you’re starting you need to push as much as you can when it comes to your own material.
She was continuing when it comes to performing at various festivals. She then released her own freestyle called Mishstyle. She then joined Krept and Konan when it comes to their acoustic version on SBTV. She was supposed to be releasing her debut album and her single. And this time would have been the perfect time when it comes to gaining more supporters. She has worked with people like Emeli Sandé, MNEK, Mr Hudson, TMS, Cutfather and Naughty Boy. In 2014 she left her old label. And then she set up her own. Sometimes being signed to a label they can really hold you back. She then released Where Did We Go and it was released on SoundCloud. And this was for her EP.
She is currently 33 years old. The time that she started during the X Factor she was only 19 years old. And her career has been interesting to watch. The comments that Louis Walsh and Tulisa did we believe it affected her chances of winning and that was really a big problem for her. That really affected her. Because now some people may think that she is difficult and may not want to work with her. The type of person that you are can really affect your brand when people notice that you’re a very difficult person. She came in 4th place which is still an achievement but she could have potentially won.
Tulisa addressed it years after but the damage had already been done. So now you have to really make sure that you change your image. It’s been a really long time since she has released anything. On her TikTok she has announced that she is going to be releasing music it has been a while. And it’s going to be interesting when it comes to the type of sound that she would be making. She should definitely stay authentic as she always been. Even when you look at her music videos. You can tell that she isn’t trying to copy anyone.
She still released music on her Facebook page when it comes to doing covers. You can still do that when it comes to making sure that you’re feeding your audience. There are so many things that could go wrong when it comes to the music business. And Misha B had to deal with controversies before she could even release her own original music and that really sucks. There are so many good things that have happened for her. Kelly Rowland being her mentor is perfect. At 33 the music that you release in your 20s could be completely different right now in your 30s.
Misha B music we are excited to hear when it comes to her own music. There are so many things when it comes to going on tour with other artists that is really important and that can be really a good thing for her. When you look at her live performances she is very good when it comes to touring and it makes a lot of sense when it comes to it. Touring can help her out when it comes to touring and doing their own thing. She can collaborate with people from different genres and this can really expose her to a different audience and it can be really helpful.
