All 3 sisters China, Sierra, Lauryn. The sisters grew up watching Disney channels. And they come from an Artistic musical family. Their father is a music producer who produced for an Artist called Solange Knowles’ Solo Star 2002. Their mother Shontell McClain is a songwriter. So already this was a family that breathed Music. They also have a little brother called Gabriel McClain. And in the year 2004, the sisters became interested when it comes to Music. This is the time that they watched their Father produce and write songs. The sisters began to write and produce songs. They also began with acting as well. They were trying different careers in the Entertainment industry.
The father had a friend that is a music executive. And heard the sisters sing. And insisted on Rob Hardy to let China audition for a movie called The Gospel. At that time she would be at least 7 years old. And she was extremely young when she first started. The sisters began their own careers as a trio. They recorded their first song called Silly Games. The song was produced by their father called Michael McClain. And it was written by their mother Shontell McClain. China then joined the cast of House of Payne and Sierra made appearances too. In 2008 they recorded a song called Daddy’s Girl.
Inspired by the movie. And it was released on MySpace in 2008. This just shows how bad they wanted to be singers. Because they were posting themselves all over. And they were also posting covers of themselves on YouTube. This was the way that Justin Bieber got discovered and they were releasing their own covers at the same time that he was doing. It’s interesting to see when it comes to people who started doing covers earlier. They also were pursuing their own acting career. And it was separate. The sisters were planning to use their name. And that’s normal to want to use their own surname. Because they are all related to each other.
China then landed a show called A.N.T. Farm. They released a soundtrack “Perfect Mistake” and “Electronic Apology”. The group even had plans to release their own album. But they never did. The group then performed their own version of Jingle Bells Rock. At the 2011 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The group signed with Hollywood Records in 2012. They were also an opening act. They performed their new song called Rise. And it was at the Mall of America. The song was written by the producers and produced by their Father. It was the lead single for the movie called Chimpanzee.
The sisters also performed at the White House Easter egg roll. Their song The Great Divide was featured in the Disney movie called Secret of the Wings. And on the film soundtrack Disney Fairies: Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust. The song peaked at number 4 for Billboard US Kid. The partnership that they had with Disney clearly was working really well. Their music is being featured all over Disney film soundtracks. The sisters then premiered their new song called Go. Lauryn and Sierra starred and performed the song with China. The group also performed at the Hollywood Christmas parade. The soundtrack album for Shake It Up: I Love Dance was released and it had songs like Sharp as a Razor.
And the group performed the song. The group then announced that they were going their own separate ways with Hollywood Records. The group then released a song called He Loves Me in 2013. They also performed at the Disney Music Awards. And they also presented an award. They also performed with Soulja Boy and also Drake Bell. From the summers to the fall the group went on tour and performed everywhere. The group then released a song called Clip My Wings which was featured in a movie called The Sparrows. They also released a song on SoundCloud called Feelin Like. The sisters went on a hiatus and went their own separate ways.
In 2020 they came back and released and changed their name to Thriii. And released a song called Sanity. And in 2021, they released a remix of Calling All the Monsters. The music video was then released October 8, 2021. The sisters when you look at the Music covers, they had this unique sound that they were able to blend in really well. It’s really good when you listen to the song. They have created really impressive covers on YouTube. They started in the music industry when they were very young. And so many things have changed since then. Social media has changed a lot. You will see people doing covers.
However, there are people who are also trying to use their original music to blow up. That’s why you see so many people being able to blow up over there. And many people are doing that now. You barely hear people blowing up from doing covers or being discovered from the covers that they did on YouTube. The last time that they went on tour was in 2014. When it comes to doing music, McClain sisters need to make sure that they make music that can really showcase their skills. And that’s very important when it comes to it.
When it comes to their channel, there was a time that they went through a break and didn’t release anything on their channel and fans wondered what happened. Groups like to discover themselves so that they can figure out what they want to do when it comes to their own careers. They should be bigger. This type of music is needed when it comes to vocals. And there is a market when it comes to it. There aren’t a lot of vocalists. And this can help out a lot. There is a market for vocalists. There are some people that believe that there isn’t a market for them. But there definitely is when it comes to it.Many people would want to hear music were they are just admiring their singing voices.Labels just don’t want to invest in does type of voices.
