The song is originally composed by Charles fox with Lyrics by Norman gimbel.The lyrics were written in collaboration  with Lori lieberman.After she was inspired by Don mcelean performance in late 1971.The song was released in 1972 . However , it did not chart.And it has been covered by a lot of Artist.It became a number 1 song for  Roberta flack.And the song became successsul for Fugees in 1996.Certain Artist know how to cover certain songs better then others.And that could be the melody and the vocals.If you don’t do it the way.That they like it.It can affect it and may not be received well by the public.

This song is very good.Fugees has a unique sound.And everybody had their own part in every dong that that they did.There route to success wasn’t easy.However , it paid off as they stuck together.They created music that is being loved almost 30 years after.90s music had a a lot of soul and vibe to it.The effort that was put in.When it comes to  groups especially very organized and well defined.Fugees eventually split and went their own way.However , their sound is being emulated by everyone in the Music industry and could it be that.They can’t create good enough sounds for themselves.

Noticed in this generationw we don’t really have groups like that anymore ?.What happen what caused the lack of groups.Was it because most people don’t want to create Groups anymore.Because of how much investment is required in them a good example is Junes diary.They are such talented group of girls.That are having a hard time blowing up in the Music business.We are in a different time that makes it hard to do it.For us to make Groups thrive again we have to make sure that we understand what it takes for them to become successful.And we shouldn’t just give up on them.
