From his teenage years to his 20s he was imprisoned for most of the time.Sometimes people who become successful they always go through a lot in their life.Nothing in the lives ever go smooth.It’s almost like they have to go throgh certain things.And that sad because they shouldn’t have to go through all of this.Howver , this certain situation that they go through.It gives them motivations to do well in life.And they change themselves automatically.This may be surpise to some people.Howver , Jelly actually started his career trying to pursue Rap this was during the early 2000s so around 2002-2003.
Hip hop at that time was extremely popular.Especially with the rise of Eminem.There has been a lot of white rapper that took inspiration from and have decided to pursue Hip hop.He was inspired by people like Three 6 Mafia, UGK, and 8Ball & MJG. He sold mixtapes out of his car.Artist that grew up in a generation without social media.Always tend to have a unique perspectives when it comes to the Music industry because they will be the only generation that know what it was like before social media.This is something that the next generation will never be able to experience.
He releases projects like The Plain Shmear Tape in 2003 , four part Gamblin’ on the White Boy series from 2004 to 2011.His collab with Memphis rapper Lil whyte got over 6 million views on Youtube.Hip hop is a genre that not everyone can do.He was also member of a group SNO.Over the next few years he was releasing albums and mixtapes collaborating with Haystak , Struggle jennings.He then made his debut 2021. He was invited by Craig morgan. He scored his first number 1 song with a track called Dead man walking.Just look at how long it took .It took a long time for him to become successful.And if you look at how old he is compared to others.
He is an older Artist his lyrics are very deep and passionate.And also notice the minute he changed Genres he started blowing up.The genre that he wanted to become successful in didn’t make sense for him to do.And he listened to what the audience wanted to listen to and he changed it.It’s important to make sure that you adapt to what your audience wants you to make for them.His scores his first number one country song called Son of a sinner.He also made history on Billboards.Jelly is currently 39 years old.

Its just him and his mic expressing his feelings.When you look at the time that he started doing Music it’s not surprising that his lyrics are very deep.Him being arrested also trying to find his sound.And also him being different becasue he became successful at a later age.His music has deep message.And there is a market that will really love his music because they like to hear certain lyrics on a song.Jelly also did a collaboration with Mgk called Lonely road.His hardwork is clearly paying off.And it’s all with him doing Music that is true to him.
This song start off with him expressing himself that sound like his singing and that is Mgk part.This song is beautiful the lyrics are welll written.Most people will be able to relate to being alone.Mgk is a rapper so it’s nice to hear him do different sounds like this.It’s good to experiment when your an Artist it helps out a lot.A lot of Musicians from the 2010 experimented their sound they didn’t just stick to one.And that what made them stand out among the crowd.It made it look better because it’s almost like they had different personalities in their Music.

He is doing vlogs and going about his day..And some Artist are private and don’t show a lot about what going on.He recently collaborated on a song with Eminem on a song called Somebody save me. Eminem is apologising to his daughter. His daughter is always talked about in his Music.Eminem is always known to talk about his family situation in his Music,And then you have Jelly roll on the chorus that sings the Best part of the song,This kind of remind me when Rappers use to hire professional singers to sing on their hooks
We think that Jelly roll has solidified himself as a Musician and Rappers prefer him to sing on their hooks because it blends well with their Rap lyrics. If your a rapper . You definitely need someone that is good when it comes to the Hooks.Choruses are extremely important and they can make or break song.Most people don’t think that if you don’t have a good Chorus people won’t care for the song like that.And even bridges we need to bring does back more and more.
