Streaming was how a lot of people were watching this new shows.Streaming isn’t going to pay as much.Some of these streaming platform were founded by 2 individuals who saw the future of the dvd market.And what it would be replaced by.When you’re relying on streaming platform. It’s not always going to work for the people behind the scenes because they might have not grown up in that era.
The pandemic happened in 2020 and people couldn’t go to the cinemas.And that where the film industry heavily relies on.It made the industry relies that if something like this can happen.They need to have a plan.People feel like movies aren’t the same anymore.People think about movies from the 90s and 2000s and how original and classic it was.Did streaming affect that?.When tv was still popular people were still making classic movies.The effort that they put in that era is different from now.People are watching shows or Movies on netflix.

There has also been a decline in award shows.People aren’t watching Oscars , golden globes,Mtv movie awards like they used to.The excitement that people use to have .Is it because people have a lot of access to celebrities these days.That they don’t take their role as an actor seriously?.People are also able to express themselves via podcast and youtube.They are people who have built platforms and credibiltiy based on their opinions.And people enjoy watching them more then award shows.There has also been a shift when it comes to clebrities.Influencers have lowkey replaced them.Youtubers and podcast have a lot of influence.

People are using Hulu , Netlix,Disney,Amazon. The film industry might have to come up with a common ground that works for the both of them so that no one gets affected. The writers are striking right now because of the fact that they are not getting paid well.Striking is good because it can make the industry aware about what is going on.The film industry and the streaming industry can have an effect in people behind the scenes. There has to be a clear structure for people behind the scenes get paid well.People at the top will always get the most money because of the power that they have.
Paramount studio is a leading film production company. They have made really popular movies like Titanic , Top gun maverick,Transformers.They have contributed massively to the movie industry.Barry diller was the ceo of it and in 2021 he expressed that the business is over he quotes “”I used to be in the movie business where you made something really because you cared about it”.People like him need to be appear more.People who actually care about movies and the quality.People who want to create an audience that people love so that in 20 years people will rewatch like Home alone.
Hiring people based on talent and not because they have a social media platfor.It’s tempting to see someone thta makes content and feel like it would make sense to hire them for a tv show.However , are they actually good what they are doing?Do they have emotion in their acting.The audience need to feel a connection to the actors.For it to work.There is also has to be an emphasis on the marketing.Movies in 2023 need to have innovative marketing.Don’t do the normally traditional ones .
