Or sometimes even their nails.People were interacting with their followers sharing where they are doing with their friends and family .
The influencer takeover wasn’t as much. People were just sharing what they were doing and they were excited . wasn’t worried about likes comments . It was exciting people the focus was just posting pictures.The other apps wasn’t a solely photo sharing app. They had a lot going on which made Instagram succssful. Instagram was unique in a sense of people could filter the pictures , hashtags.
Could have as many followers . Whereas there was a cap on certain apps of 5000. With that came with the influencer culture which changed the game completely . Influencers where able to build a following that created a brand for them.Brands were looking at influencers for marketing. The kardashians always talk about Instagram being helpful for them when it comes to their business. Kylie jenner shared that she had no advertising spend.Because of the following she has on Instagram. The problem with creating apps that become commercialised.Users can become bored with the app . Other apps can take advantage of the fact that an app is loosing it’s appeal.
Instagram was a game changer because it was the app that made influencers money to post. Old social media like Myspace Facebook influencers couldn’t make money . It was more of a interactive platform. Apps are using that formula to make their business a success. We are in 2023 Twitter and Youtube has evolved uswell and people can also make money.
Fashion Nova used influencers to grow their business.Small business use it to grow their customer base. Instagram created opportunites for everyday people. Before Instagram there wasn’t an app where you could grow your business. Facebook was for people who were already famous.
Growing a personal brand is difficult.That why you don’t hear that many influencers becoming successful from Facebook. It’s mainly Instagramm.Forbes is always referencing Instagram as where influencers make money from Ads.
