Sza is raised in New jersey. And she has a Christian mother and a Muslim father.She grew up Muslim.Sza graduates High school in 2008.And attented university to study Marine biology.She decided to drop out.And she was doing various jobs . To sustain herself for the time being.Sza met members of the Top Dawg entertainment in 2011.The music that she was making was sent to Terrence Henderson.Nowadays you see aspiring Artist sending their music to executives in order to get a shot in the Music industry.And sometimes they fail at it.However , keep going at it.It only takes 1 person.

Sza was starting to get attention when she was releasing her EP.She was signed to his label in 2013.Sza ep was released in 2o12.April 10 2013 she released her second Ep called S.December 2013 she released a song called Teen spirit.And then she did a remix with 50 cent.She also did a song with Chance the rapper.Sza career was doing very well the minute she signed.However , sza did well on her own while getting Buzz when it comes to her EP.Sza still would have been successful without her being signed.For many Artist they might not be able to do it independently because of the cost that comes with it.

Sza then decided to venture into another avenue which is Songwriting.Not that many artist will venture into songwriting because they want to keep the good songs for themselves.It’s very hard to write a song that will become successful.However , And then giving it to someone else can be a hard thing to do for some writers.Sza was writing for Rihanna , Beyonce . Sza co – wrote consideration on Rihanna Anti album.January 2017 sza released Drew barrimore as the lead single for her album CTRL.April 28 2017 signed a label contract with RCA Records.June 9 2017 Sza released her album CTRL.The album was given the best album of all time in Time magazine.

2017 – 2018 Sza was promoting her album going to North america.When you look at Sza look and style when it comes to the way that she styles her hair.It makes her stand out a lot.Among other artist when you look at the clothes that she wears.When your an Artist you want to make sure that you dress and look in a certain way that makes you different.This is what  also helped Sza in our opinion.It made her look like a real Artist.When you listen to type of Music that she makes lyrics are very important to her.

Sza always go onto full detail when it comes to her Music . There are some Artsist that will focus on their Vocals.They want to deliver more when it comes their vocals.Then their lyrics.Sza also collaborated with one of the biggest Boy band Maroon 5 when you collab with them.Your career can take of on so many levels.Because they have a huge fanbase.That they can give you so much of their fans.Sza received 5 Grammy nominations.She didn’t win . However , for a new Artist that is still a big accomplishment.Because it was the first time that she was even nominated for an award.

Sza also collaborated with Kendrick lamar for the movie soundtrack Black phanter.All the stars.It’s very important for Artist to make sure that they are able to as much as they can feature themselves in Movie soundtracks as a writer.Becaue if the  movie takes off that another revenue for them.Movies can be a classic if done well.When you look at movies like High school Musical.There are so many songs in the movie that people remember and love.And after all these years they don’t stop talking about it.And that because it is a good written song.Songs that are written well in movies will always be the gold that you dig for yourself.

Sza also collaborated with Cardi b on a song called I do.Both of them were upcoming artist and collaborated and were making noise in the Music industry.It’s important to have a certain speed as an Artist when it comes to collaborating and releasing songs.Don’t be too slow with it.Because if you loose the speed people will forget about you very quickly.In this time people are moving on very fast.You can be easily forgotten as an Artist.And that the scary part an an Artist.Imagine working hard and then it goes away.

Sza was featured on a song with Dj khaled on a song called just us.When it comes to Dj khaled when it comes to the way he collabs.He does it in a very strategic way.And even when they do it.It’s always a hit.How is that every collab that he does always a hit.Well when you look at who he collabs with.It’s business.Sza was a successful artist coming up .So she was the best person to collaborate with.Sza also collaborated with Justin timberlake on a sountrack movie called Trolls world tour.Sza signed with WME a talent agency.The sky is the limit.Especially when you make a name for yourself.

Sza tweeted her label owner when it comes to releasing new music.And she was frustrated with her label owner about it.The reality of the Music industry when you sign with labels is real.You don’t get to have so much of a say.And that why Jayz starting his own label.Was the best thing for him.You have more control when it comes to the business side.Which is important for an Artist to have.Sza collaborated with Sza on a song called Kiss me more.Sza collaborated with Summer walker on a song called No love.People loved the song that they made together.

December of 2022 Sza released her second album called SOS.The album did very well on Billboard.Sza went on tour to promote her album in 2023.Is touring still an effective way to promote your album.If you have a supportive fanbase.Then it can be a good thing.Hovewer, if you don’t have that fanbase.Then forget it .It can be a bad idea.Sza released a song called Saturn as a promotion for her upcoming album Lana that is set to be released in 2024.When she released her first album she was 28 years old.And that was 7 years a go.She has grown up almost 35 years old.There might be a slight touch when it comes to her growing up or maybe not.
