Ed sheeran was singing at churches at 4 years old.In 2007 he auditioned for the Youth Music Theatre Uk.2004/2010.2004 at the age of 13 he started recording music independently released his first work Spinning man.He moved to London in 2008 and began playing in small avenue.This is clearly someone that always had the drive.When it came to making sure that he becomes a Musician.It’s good that he was performing right before he was even famous.Because a lot of Musicians are not very good when it comes to their live performances.Ed sheeran was already preparing himself .And it clearly showed his determination to make it.
2009 Ed sheeran began studying Music at a school.However , he left.School is not always for every Musicians.And a lot of Musicians feel like when it comes to studying Music in school your not going to write music and do other fun stuff.However , it’s much more heavier it involves analytical thinking when it comes to the questions that they ask you pertaining to music. Music theory is also a requirement to do.And some Musicians are not that academically smart to just sit in a classroom and learn about music in a critical thinking manner.2009 he released his EP.
February 2010 he released a song on SBTV a channel ran by Jamal edwards . He released another EP called Loose change. Ed sheeran always gives credit to Jamal edwards when it comes to putting him on. Through Youtube he began getting a lot of attention.Ed released 2 other EP’s in 2010. 2011 Ed released an EP Number project collaboration. Ed was then signed to Asylum records.2011/2013. Ed sheeran performed for a BBC music show for his single called The a Team. The song did well .It was the best selling single of 2011. He was just 19 years old at that time . Still a teenager .
Ed released an album called + on 2011.The album was doing well.The album was certified platinum 6 times.He wons Brits award.Which is a big deal . At that timr he was 20 years old.And was growing up . He co-wrote songs for One direction on a song called Moments.Taylor swift even wanted to work with him . He co-wrote Everything has changed.Ed sheeran was clearly a talented songwriter.And knew what he was doing was working.His songwriting skills was almost like telling a story.You could tell he put a lot of effort in when it comes to the songwriting.He keeps the background beat quite simple.
Ed sheeran also co-wrote Take me home and Little things by One direction.Songwriting is a skill that many even successful Singers don’t even have.2014/2015 Ed sheeran second studio album was release 23 June 2014. In 3 years . Ed sheeran wrote 120 songs . Many of these songs may not even be used.However , this is how the Music industry is set when it comes to Music . You have to write a bunch of them.So that you can get the bad ones out of the way.Thinking out Loud and Don’t was released 27 September in 2014.The song thinking out loud was extremely popular . It currently has billion views on Youtube .
Ed sheeran wrote Justin bieber song Love Yourself.The song was actually suppose to be for his third album.2016/2018.Ed sheeran went through a social media break. Musicians don’t always get to have social media breaks .Because people around them might feel like when they return people won’t care for them.However , for Ed sheeran because he built a loyal fanbase that love his music no matter what.He was already very famous.And people knew him for years.Ed sheeran during his time away travelled to different countries.So he was still even working. Musicians can sometimes get tired of working all the time.And they need a break.
January 6 he released 2 singles Shape of You and Castle on the hill..Both song broke Spotify day one streaming.December 2017 he collaborated on a song with Eminem called river.He was featured on Eminem 9 album.2019/2022. 2019 he collaborated on a song with Justin bieber called I don’t care.He also collab with Chance the rapper and also Khalid.Ed released an album with Travis scott called Anti social. The music that Ed sheeran does many people would feel like why would he collab with a Hip hop rapper.However , this is actually the perfect recipe.Slow and upbeat collab always are good to make.Because your giving the listener variety.

Ed sheeran always opened himself up when it comes to different genres to collab with other Arist . He has collborated with Afrobeats Artist , Hip hop Artist , R&B artist . It’s very smart of him to do that he is opening himself up to other sound that can give him new ideas for his next song.2023 he released his 6 album and was released on 29 september of 2023 . Ed sheeran has built a career from the groud up.This is someone that wasn’t just waiting for thing to happen to him.
