He is of Iranian persian on his father side and also Cuban on his mother side.Had a Youtube comedy show called Pouya and Nick.There are so many Youtubers who started their channel to build up their Music career.Because it can really help them out in the future.There are some people who start Youtube channel to really help them out when it comes to marketing.And they were mainly doing Comedy sketches.DDG was mainly doing reactions and now he is doing Rap as a career.They were travelling around the neighbourhood in Miami and would also feature their friends Denzel Curry and the group Raider Klan.
Pouya dropped out of High school and instead he was cleaning toilets at a Restaurant for a year before finding success in the Music industry.This is is clearly not for everyone.Not everyone wants to do this.They are some people who graduate high school and even go to college and get themselves their degree.And then pursue their music career.You have to do what best for you and what works for you.This may not work for eveyone because the taught of cleaning toilets for a year before they can find success.Not everybody is build for that they have too much pride they say.
Pouya started to take rap seriously in 2011.2011 are such intesting times in the music industry.The year that Instagram was invented streaming wasn’t as popular and people were either downloading the music .Or listening to the music on Youtube.He did a freestyle with a florida rapper Nell titled Shotz From The Double Glock.He then began releasing music more frequently.And he had a close friend called Fat nick.The 2 formed Buffet boys..A group that became their record label.He gained attention after he released songs like “Get Buck” in 2013, which as of June 2022 has over 13 million video views.
November 20 2013 They released a collaboration Ep called The Cool Kids’ Sir Michael Rocks titled Gookin’.His solo mixtape was released March 5 of 2014.His next mixtape South side slugs was released us well.His debut studio album was released and is called Underground Underdog under the Buffet Boys label.His other studio album five five.Pouya is considered the pioneers when it comes to soundcloud in 2012.Soundcloud wasn’t taking very seriously when it came to the mainstream.It was mainly used by aspiring artist that didn’t have connections in the music industry and really needed to find a way to put themselves out there.And soundcloud has worked very well for many underground artist.
His sound has been emulated by a lot of Artist that came from the soundcloud era and you can hear that from the song 1000 rounds.When someone start something other people want to emulate and do the same thing.Especially if it’s trending that the thing about this generation of Musicians the minuet a sound is loved by the world instead of creating their own thing .They copy it.This can be such a bad idea.However , this is how it is especially with the internet.People use technology for everything Especially AI .This causes way less creativity.
Soundcloud has played such a huge influence when it comes to the sound that we hear today.People use Spotify more . However , Soundcloud has more influence when it comes to making Artist successful more then Spotify.Spotify is mainly for established Artist we believe that it’s very hard.To become successful in it.What the solution Soundcloud.Yes use Soundcloud more it can help you out a long long term when it comes to the sound that you make.It can motivate you to make the best song ever.Pouya used a different formula in becoming successful and it did very well for him.
When it comes to making money in the industry the times that Pouya started we believe that it was the best time to make the most amount of Money that you can .Because people were still focusing on the good music.And there wasn’t that much virality influence in the song.Celebrity culture was taking more seriously.There has been a change in the musical culture when it comes to celebrities.There is less of care and excitement even in 2013.That excitement still existed.What caused it?.We believe the accessibility once became everything for all.That where it got dilluted.So many people believed that they could also become for example content creators.
Another good example is how Youtube when it comes to content creation the value of it has gone down .The time were Pouya started doing Youtube .There was a lot more value when it came to long from content.And the effort that you had to put in .Before you could even see success.Wasn’t easy.You really had to make sure that what you were doing was for sure going to work.Or else it wouldn’t work out very well.It was a numbers game and that why maybe the quality of Youtube videos was so much better back then.
Now short form content have become extremely popular.The extreme popularism has allowed people to leave the platform completely.Pouya could have pivoted and allowed Tik tok to influence his sound he just released a song called Live let and die.And is still has that influnce of Soundcloud that he created with his friend Fat nick.Some people don’t allow trends to influence the decisions that they make.As long they are being true to themselves and it works for them well.They will continue to embrace what they have.Some people they let go.And that is completely your decisions to make.
When it comes to making music Pouya is being remembered as a pioneer.Evene if your music becomes less popular through the years.Having the title when it comes to being a pioneer.Can really make a huge difference when it comes to your career.You will be able to sell out shows and be able to go on tour because people will always remember what you have done .There are some people that don’t understand that if they don’t make an imapct they will be quickly be forgotten.And that the reality for many people.Many people have to be able to make sure that in their careers.They have made something unique.
