When Frank was 5 years they relocated to New orleans.After graduation from High school in 2005.Frank then enrolled himself in University studying English.There was a hurricane that happened which meant that he had to transfer to a different University.He stayed there for a time.And then dropped out to pursue his Music career.2006 Frank moved to Los angeles which sometimes.Aspiring artist would do.If they feel like where they live.There is a lack of opportunities.He was working at a fast food restaurant to support himself.Sometimes you have to do whatever.To make your dreams come true.And it may look like.Your not progressing.However , with consistency it might happen.
Less then 3 years he established himself as a songwriter. Moving to Los angeles was clearly working for him.Will it work for everybody else .Who decide to pack their bags.And move to Los angeles.It might be unlikely.Frank took a risk and it paid off.But what if it didn’t pay off?.After getting a songwriting deal he was writing for Justin bieber , Beyonce , John legend , Brandy.Frank ocean said he was comfortable being a songwrite.And it was giving him an income.However , he wanted to pursue his career.As an Artist.Some Artist do this .In order to get themselves out there more easily.

Hero was released on Soundcloud .And it featured Artist like Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Diplo .
Frank ocean was said to release an album in 2015 of July.However , it never happened.One thig that we would say about Frank Ocean is that he takes his time.When it comes to his craft.He doesn’t really let pressure to release get to him.So many Artist are always in a hurry to release new things.He was featured in Life of pablo album.Blonde was released August 20 2016.The second album did even better .Then the second album is sold over 200,000 copies in it’s first week.Instead of going on promotions tours like any other Artist would do.Frank was travelling to places like China , Japan and France.
Forbes confirmed that ocean made one million in profits in Just one week.This just showes that people really were very eager to listen to his new Music after 4 years.After the success of your first album.It’s very tempting to release an album very quickly.Because you want to keep up the momentum.It’s a very real thing that happens .Because they feel like.It won’t become successful so they need to hurry up.However , Frank ocean is proof.That you can’t rush greatness.Time also gave it the best album of 2016.Frank ocean is very different when it comes to certain Artist he isn’t trying to be seen.
Frank ocean was feataured in a song with Migos and Calvin calvin harris.The song currently has 180 million of views.The song went double platinum.Frank also appeared in a video game.Grand theft auto V.Frank ocean was doing cover of a very old movie called Breakfast at Tffany.He was also featured in a collaboration with Asap rocky.Frank released a song called DHL.Frank ocean also announced his fashion project called Homer.The fashion has been 3 years in the making.June 2022.There was even announcement that he was going to be directing his first ever film.It’s kind of crazy the opporutnites that Artist get once they become famous.
Frank ocean was announced as a headliner for coachella.Which was exciting for many of his Artist that haven’t seen him perform in ages.People were excited because he hasn’t performed in a long time.There were some criticisms when it comes to his performances.They wanted to see it live streamed on Youtube.That something that is different in this generation.They can have access to so many things online.Instead of physically going to that location.Frank when he was starting out especially as a song writers Spotify didn’t even exist streaming platforms were not really there like that.Youtube was just 1 year in the game.
Frank ocean last album was in 2016.The standard of the album could be very difficult to surpass.And that could be the reason why.He hasn’t released anything.Lauryn hill.Has only released 1 album.And she still goes on tour with that 1 album.Frank also may be comfortable where he is at.Not everyone wants to keep releasing msuic and then going on tour.He releases singles that could be his lane that he fits.Maybe in the next 10 year.An album.Might exist.Or might even never exist.That could be it.If that it.Frank ocean has had a good career.And has develop a very loyal fanbase.That supports his way of writing music.He will be going down as a legend when it comes to his writing style and sound.
