Monetizing your passion may not always be a good idea .You need to be good at it . It doesn’t matter how much passion you have if you’re not good at it you won’t be successful at it .So passion isn’t necessary . The reality is that many people feel like you need to  monetize any passion which sometimes can be a mistake . Many people feel like if you do something that you love it will come easier to enjoy what you’re doing. Doing what you love as a career you could loose the love of it.

When you become a songwriter you might even write song that you don’t really care to talk about. Being a songwriter is like being an actress you may write songs you’re not passionate about . But you’re still doing it because it’s your job. When it becomes your job you may loose passion for it because you’re doing what you’re asked to do.
